Snow bush

An evergreen shrub growing up to 3 feet or more, the plant traces its origin to tropical plants and does not do well in regions where snow is prevalent. The colors of the foliage are dappled with white resembling the spray of snow. Primarily grown as an indoor plant, perennial or annual in cooler climates it can be found growing from southeastern Asia through Malaysia to Australia.

The crisscrossing stem of the plant adds a colorful display with shades varying from red to pink. Flowers are generally inconspicuous and fruits are small, round, and red in color. The slender stems can be trained to trail over the wall. The interesting variegated foliage is ideal for hedges besides that it does well in a container as an accent in the garden or patio.
